Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes is an American actor who is most well recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She received critical acclaim for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her first TV role in CBS soap show Guiding Light. Her most notable movies include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently working on a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the pair that wrote the film Immortals. The upcoming television series Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
